We had a fabulous family vacation at Michel’s home! The house was so incredibly clean and furnished tastefully. The kitchens were well stocked making it easy to cook for a large group. And the double dishwashers and large washer and dryer were used daily.
The best part of the house was the outdoor pool/hot tub area with Bluetooth speakers, a kitchen, pool table, and comfortable pool chairs! The dock is also a nice plus; we saw manatees and nurse sharks next to the dock, and dolphins in the bay! We rented kayaks so we could tie them up there easily. The sunsets are just gorgeous too!
We had many friends ask where we were staying when they saw our photos, and we highly recommended it!
The only thing we wished we had known about were the biting midges (no see ums) that live in the mangroves in front of the property; we didn’t see mosquitoes so we didn’t use insect repellant but later realized we had many bites – so be sure to use it if you are outside in the evenings by the hot tub!

Loved the views from all three levels. So much room to spread out and enjoy. Dock was great – would recommend renting a boat and exploring the areas. Michel and team super reachable and helpful.

The house was perfect. Clean spacious and everything in working order. Pool temp was perfect and the dock was perfect for fishing. The sunset views did not disappoint. Communication with the host was great. I would highly recommend staying here.

4 couples, plenty of room and privacy. Excellent responses from host, very quick , even on the weekend. Location , cleanliness, amenities. Fresh seafood from local captains on road into property. Fishing from the dock. Spent most of our time in pool/spa, awesome sunsets from balconies. Very quiet area. Overall great experience, will be back.

Our stay in Marathon was fabulous! The home was beautiful, comfortable and very clean! We had 6 adults and 2 teenagers and had plenty of room to spread out. We brought our boat – docking was a breeze and we were centrally located to the ocean, gulf & restaurants. Made lots of fun memories!! Communication with owners was fast & any questions or concerns we had were resolved quickly. Already looking forward to our next visit!

Family trip of 8, including 3 Grandparents. House was exactly what was shown, absolutely beautiful! We enjoyed fishing off the dock, even though only caught some small fish….was great to have a line in! The pool was perfect temperature and we enjoyed almost every day, along with the outdoor kitchen and bar. Some fun pool and corn hole tournaments as well. One night was perfect we had dinner on the 2nd floor terrace. So grateful for the elevator, especially for the grandparents and using the bring all of our stuff upstairs.

The house was luxurious–tall ceilings, breezy, well-appointed, light-filled, with every amenity you could want. Our family loved the very clean pool and hot tub. There is a large outdoor kitchen and grill, and living space nearby with a pool table and fire pit (we didn’t use either but older kids would love them). The canal view provided gorgeous sunsets from the porch, plus lots of bird-watching, as well as dolphin-sighting!
With stores and restaurants within 3 miles, it was easy to get all provisions. The location allowed us to easily go on a nearby snorkeling expedition to Sombrero Reef, and a trip to Key West took 90 minutes at most. We spent a day at stunning Bahia Honda beach and explored other local beaches for shells and sponges. All 3 generations loved the house and wished we could stay longer! Michel and staff were very responsive, helpful, and courteous. They handled every question and concern with care. An excellent all around stay!

Beautiful, like new home. Everything was wonderful. Very clean and well maintained. Very nice to sit on the back deck with coffee in the morning and watch the boats go by. Great pool/hot tub area. Elevator was a nice touch. Made it easier for my mother to navigate up and down the various levels of the home. Plenty of restaurants. Publix was very close proximity. Beyond expectations!! The home was beyond beautiful. We felt completely at home and can’t wait for our next vacation. With my dad being on in home dialysis we were so worried about doing treatments while on vacation and supply deliveries. We had supplies being delivered and it was a complete nightmare with the delivery company!! Kim went the extra mile with making contact while we were in the middle of the ocean to make sure the delivery was made!! 100 thank yous isn’t enough. The home was very clean and was stocked with everything we needed to make our trip perfect. Will definitely book again!! Can’t wait!!

We enjoyed our week ! The house is beautiful and def exceeded our expectations. We were a party of 8 and there was plenty of space for all of us. The huge outdoor kitchen, bar, and seating area is where we spent most of our time. We rented a 24’ boat and there was plenty of room at the dock, and only a 5 min ride out to the ocean. The communication from our hosts was top notch. There were quick to answer any questions, and offered suggestions before our trip. We will def be back.

The house is just like the pictures. Plenty of room for our 4 trucks and a boat trailer (30ish ft) in the front yard. Huge dock with dolphin mooring and bumpers/rod holders. Water depth at the dock is 3-4ft at low tide. Make sure that the trash cans are securely closed, we had a raccoon one night try to get into them (the cans were knocked over and we saw the raccoon the following afternoon). Like anywhere in the keys, at night the mosquitos are pretty bad. But with bug spray or candles they weren’t that bad. Fishing off the dock there’s lots of mangrove snappers, grunts, barracuda, etc. If bringing a boat, be careful in the channel, there’s a pretty big sandbar and manatees in the area.
Overall, the house was great. The fishing setup is amazing. Absolutely beautiful house. Handicap friendly since it has a small elevator as well.
We have been coming to marathon for 15+ years multiples times every year, and this is by far the best place we have stayed at yet. We will be back!

This house was absolutely beautiful and the view was great! The amenities were great, it had everything we needed to feel right at home. All the furniture was really comfortable and there were a lot of throw blankets, which really made it feel like home. I literally cannot think of anything bad to say about the property. It was our first time staying on the Atlantic side of Marathon and it is in a canal, so the water was a little cloudy and the fishing off the dock wasn’t the best, but the kids still had fun trying. We will definitely consider staying here again next time we visit!

This house is perfect for those who enjoy the outdoors like hanging around the pool, cooking outside, sunsets, privacy and fishing. I caught a tarpon off the dock.
The views from the upstairs bedrooms were stunning.

Amazing house and on incredible property. The views from the back of the bay are spectacular. Saw dolphins, caught fish off the dock with kids, and fully utilized the pool, outdoor kitchen and games.
The actual house is nice. My one recommendation for anyone renting is to know that the 5th bedroom on the upper floor doesn’t have actual walls. Still a nice room with pull out couch and bathroom and closet. However can hear noise on the other side of temp dividers.
A few small issues , however the property manager was amazing to work with and nothing that ruined our vacation experience. The pre vacation emails to offer help with services was also greatly appreciated.
Would love to return again and thank you for allowing us to rent your home.

Fantastic place to stay. Very clean and comfortable furniture. An outdoor entertainment area that can’t be beat. It has a pool, full kitchen and plenty of games to keep everyone having a good time. A very nice boat that could dock two 32 foot boats easily. A super nice filet table that I will definitely be adding to my boat dock at home. It has 3 floors, but does have a nice elevator to use. Every bedroom has a bathroom and is well appointed. The beds are very comfortable and have nice linens. It is also very convenient to boat rental places and walkable. They thought of everything! Highly recommend!!

The house is absolutely beautiful and has two amazingly equipped kitchens. We fixed most of our meals while we were there. We visited in December and had the pool heated; someone swam everyday. The pictures are very representative of our experience.
Things to do…our family loved visiting the Sea Turtle Hospital and Sombrero beach. We also did a food tour in Key West which was a lot of fun.
Kim was very responsive to our needs and requests. 10/10 experience
