Terrific house for both comfort and convenience! It is a lovely place on the water across from a marina with a fabulous outdoor living space for pure enjoyment- ping pong, corn hole, swimming, smart TV….and relaxing.
“Mermaid House” is located in a row of a few multiple rental homes, and currently there is a large construction project ongoing directly across the street that created quite a bit of noise as well as dust and debris blowing over most days to the backyard. This is obviously a temporary situation, dependent on the project timeline, but would have been nice to know about.
Additionally, the boat storage directly across the water has bright spotlights on all night that shine into the house, so maybe some darkening shades for those rear bedrooms or bring an eye mask.
Nevertheless, we had a wonderful stay and enjoyed the modern conveniences and central location in Marathon- we were gone exploring outdoors most days and it was a pleasure to come back to in the evenings.
