The house was beautiful, the area in marathon is perfect. Right on the water across from a marina. The house was very cleanly. Perfect space in the kitchen for cooking. Lots of utensils. We brought our blow up paddle boards and were able to use the kayaks too. However they were pretty difficult to put in the water because the dock is about a 5-7 foot drop to the water. Would have been nice to have some steps into the water or something. It was also difficult to tie up our boats as they were smaller boats under 25 feet. At low tide the dock bumpers still didn’t reach the boats to prevent from hitting the dock so we were constantly watching the boats and utilizing our bumpers. There was construction going on during our stay next door the whole time but communication when mentioned to the property manager was prompt and they were able to offer us a slight accommodation discount from almost 1/2 our pet fee. Pet fee is also per pet so can be pricey. Overall great vacation.
