The house was luxurious–tall ceilings, breezy, well-appointed, light-filled, with every amenity you could want. Our family loved the very clean pool and hot tub. There is a large outdoor kitchen and grill, and living space nearby with a pool table and fire pit (we didn’t use either but older kids would love them). The canal view provided gorgeous sunsets from the porch, plus lots of bird-watching, as well as dolphin-sighting!
With stores and restaurants within 3 miles, it was easy to get all provisions. The location allowed us to easily go on a nearby snorkeling expedition to Sombrero Reef, and a trip to Key West took 90 minutes at most. We spent a day at stunning Bahia Honda beach and explored other local beaches for shells and sponges. All 3 generations loved the house and wished we could stay longer! Michel and staff were very responsive, helpful, and courteous. They handled every question and concern with care. An excellent all around stay!
