We had to find a place for our group at the last minute when our Dry Tortugas Camping expedition was cancelled by hurricane Rafael, and we got so incredibly lucky to quickly find the Mermaid’s Paradise available. It was a great value for our stay: clean, well furnished and equipped, responsive hosts, refreshing pool, and manatees in the canal along the dock (The dock is on a large canal with ocean access that we didn’t get to use because of windy weather, but we would definitely rent a boat for the week next time we go back). This house is worth a trip to Marathon all on its own!
