We really enjoyed our time at Mermaid’s Paradise. This property

We really enjoyed our time at Mermaid’s Paradise. This property was new, clean, and well-appointed. We had everything we needed. It is located in Marathon, a short drive to Sombrero Beach and Islamorada. Plenty of restaurants and activities nearby. Our kids loved the pool and ping pong table. The only downside, in our opinion, was the property is across the canal from a boat storage facility. The boat storage facility has bright lights shining in the direction of Mermaid’s Paradise property through the night. The two king rooms facing this direction of the lights, were bright through the night. Mermaid’s paradise provided sleep masks but we would’ve preferred not to have to use them at all. This situation was not a deal-breaker, but those sensitive to light at night should know.
Overall, this property was very nice and in a great location on Marathon.
